Global consulting firm launches a new service offering. 18K consultants worldwide need to understand the firm’s new approach and be able to consistently and passionately convey the new capability to the market place.
The firm selected a group of 150 partners, considered their strongest presenters, who would lead internal training sessions on the new offering. The senior partner asked The Executive Communicator to help him ensure that the partners were using advanced techniques to engage their audience. He said, “The goal is to make their presentations lively, entertaining, and memorable and to generate excitement about the new service offering.”
The Executive Communicator assembled a team of five seasoned presentation coaches. The engagement began in New York City where The Executive Communicator team attended all general sessions in order to fully understand the new service offering. Our President, Susan Farwell, kicked-off the coaching with an interactive talk on “Advanced Techniques for Engaging an Audience.” This was followed by breakout sessions where the partners practiced presenting details of the new client offering. They were videotaped and received feedback from their colleagues and our coaches.
The Executive Communicator team received such high ratings in New York City that the senior partner hired our team to repeat the program for 100 additional partners in Paris and London.
The senior partner reported that the training was extremely beneficial and exceeded everyone’s expectations. He said that as a result of our coaching and insights, the internal presentations given by the partners generated the type of buzz and excitement they needed to assure a successful launch in the global markets.
